Oceanographer – About
Oceanographer has been Joshua Babcock’s musical alias since 2007 when he first began assembling tracks for an upcoming LP. This album, “Coral Fixation,” was independently released in the summer of 2009 as a free 15-track online-only entity. Influences for ‘Coral Fixation’ came from electronic acts such as Bibio, Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss, Seefeel, Lone, Aphex Twin, and others.
